Mechanical/Electrical Engineer, Full-Time

MS Electronics, a growing company specializing in manufacturing and sales of high end speaker systems for residential and commercial use , is looking for an ideal candidate to join our engineering team.

A successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, hard-working self-starter with a background or passion for audio/acoustics, electronics, or product design. The ideal candidate will be a team player with the ability to focus on the goals of the group as well as personal work goals. Time management skills, such as prioritization of multiple responsibilities with high attention to detail and timely results, are required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the development of innovative audio equipment from the conceptual phase through mass production
  • Coordinate with other engineers, production and QC staff for day-to-day operations
  • Maintain Solidworks PDM and ensure product documentation is accurate and well organized
  • Communicate with vendors and certification agencies.
  • Lead constant improvement efforts for current products, including control activities, failure analysis, process improvement, etc.
  • Mentor and train newer engineers and QC staff on standard engineering concepts.
  • Support sales network and end users with technical support and product recommendations.

Key Technical Skills:

  • Experienced with Solidworks or other parametric modeling software
  • Knowledge of standard manufacturing processes, especially injection molding
  • Experience in audio/acoustics a plus
  • Experience with AFMG software a plus
  • Experience with Audiomatica software a plus

Required attributes and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Preferred experience in acoustic engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
  • Background in analog and digital electronics
  • Independent and strong work ethic; self-motivated
