The S1.8Tiw provides superior bass and extra high power handling with its dual 8 inch Kevlar cone woofers with coated foam surround, its 3 inch soft dome midrange, and its 1.125 inch soft dome tweeter. Incorporating exclusive patented S4X^® crossover and driver-control technology, the S1.8Tiw creates a virtually perfect integration of drivers, ideal for their intended frequencies. S4X^® also provides greatly increased control over frequency response, phase, and impedance, resulting in superior performance and imaging. Because of S4X^® technology, any Induction Dynamics^® speaker can be used to build a custom home theater system. The S1.8Tiw can be combined with any Induction Dynamics^® center and surround speakers, be they in-wall, on-wall, or free-standing. With a removable faceplate, the wood enclosure can be mounted directly to a wall surface.
